Now you will not surprise anyone with headphones with active noise reduction and good sound. But, as a rule, they cost tangible money. Acme BH316, which we will meet today, are relatively inexpensive, made in a convenient design and, oddly enough, they sound quite good. And they have active noise cancellation. Oh yes, I almost forgot, these are also wireless headphones with good autonomy. Intrigued? Then read on.

Equipment
Acme BH316 start to please even from the moment of unpacking. They come with a hard case with a zipper for transportation, a microUSB cable for charging and an AUX cable for wired connection.
Design, construction Acme BH316
Acme BH316 are not very large full-size headphones. They look neat, discreet, but without much zest. On the other hand, it is quite practical. There are no glossy parts in the design, fingerprints and other traces of use do not remain.
The design is entirely plastic, only the headband bracket is made of metal. There are no complaints about the quality of the assembly materials, no extra squeaks are heard in the headphones.
Ease of use, ergonomics
Firstly, the fact that the headphones can be folded is a plus for transportation. A significant role in the convenience of the headphones is also played by many degrees of freedom, here the length of the headband is regulated, and the ear pads themselves rotate. Secondly, the ear pads turned out to be very comfortable, they are soft, comfortable and in this parameter are in no way inferior to much more expensive headphones. The Acme BH316 is a pleasure to listen to music for a long time. The weight of the headphones is also small – 280 grams.
Now let’s talk about the controls. All of them are concentrated on the right bowl. There is a multi-function button, a noise reduction mode switch, a volume rocker and a 3.5 mm jack. The buttons are well separated to the touch. The multifunctional button is used to turn on the power, switch tracks and answer a call. On the left side there is only a microUSB port for charging. Type-C has not yet been delivered, but given the cost, it’s a sin to complain.
Acme BH316 sound quality
To be honest, you don’t expect good sound from full-size headphones, and even with active noise cancellation and a small price, but the Acme BH316 surprised me. Of course there are compromises, but more on them later. So, the sound can be described as follows: clean highs, slightly pronounced mids and not very bloated bass. Highs choke a little on strong vocals, but you can only hear this if you like opera music. In general, the sound turned out to be balanced, with noticeable bass, but you can enjoy music in these headphones.
Now a little about the noise reduction system. She has only one mode of operation – turn it on or off, for this there is a sliding switch on the right bowl. In general, the first time I used the Acme BH316, I even had doubts – why is active noise reduction needed here, if, thanks to the design, the headphones cut off ambient noise so well? In this case, the noise reduction does not have a very big effect on the noise, but it is noticeable on the sound. So, with ANC turned on, the sound became a little more muffled in the low-frequency region and changed the sound somewhat. In some genres, this was especially noticeable. If you walk along a noisy road, then noise reduction is useful in such cases. But if you need noise-canceling headphones in order not to hear colleagues in the office, then the implementation of the system in Acme BH316 is not well suited for this.
Autonomy Acme BH316
Thanks to the use of a capacious battery and Bluetooth 5.0, the battery life is an impressive 23 hours (with noise reduction turned off). Acme BH316 is fully charged in 1 hour.
