For two weeks now, a series of companies leaving Russia has not dried up. Software developers are actively joining smartphone manufacturers, including Microsoft, TikTok, Spotify and many others. Now the authors of hit mobile games have begun to join them: the Supercell team, whose track record includes such projects as Brawl Stars, Clash Of Clans and Clash Royal, has removed their games from app stores in Russia and Belarus. From now on, it will be impossible to download them, and access to previously installed versions will be interrupted with the next software update. A similar decision was made by the Small Giant Games team, which owns the Empires & Puzzles and Puzzle Combat titles.
However, resourceful users of Android devices have already found a temporary workaround: change the country in Google settings (change payment profile), after which updates will continue to be installed as before. At the same time, there is no solution for owners of apple devices yet.
