Motorola on the eve of MWC 2022 held a global presentation of the flagship smartphone Edge 30 Pro. As expected, the smartphone is practically no different from its Chinese counterpart Motorola Edge X30. Only a slightly reduced battery (4800 mAh) and dimensions changed by fractions of a millimeter are declared. Otherwise, everything is the same as the Chinese version: 6.7 “144 Hz screen with Full HD + resolution, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, triple camera (50 MP with 1 μm pixels + 50 MP wide JN1 with autofocus + 2 Mp plug), 60-megapixel front camera, stereo speakers and a fingerprint scanner in the power button. The price, alas, is different: in Europe, Edge 30 Pro with 12 GB of RAM will cost 799 euros (78,000 rubles). The smartphone will also be released in Russia, but the price is still not known.
Another flagship smartphone Motorola introduced today in the US. It was named Motorola Edge+ Gen. 2 or Motorola Edge+ (2022). It differs from the Motorola Edge 30 Pro in an increased amount of permanent memory (512 GB) and reduced charging power – only 30 watts. Like the Edge 30 Pro, the Edge+(2022) has a smaller 4800 mAh battery. Motorola will ask the Americans for $899 (78,700 rubles).
