Despite the fact that the modern consumer is spoiled by the thinnest screen frames of smartphones, manufacturers still have something to strive for. This, of course, is about the bottom frame, which, according to a strange tradition, for many years continues to surpass the other three in width in the Android smartphone environment (in Apple, they have been symmetrical since the iPhone X). And today @UniverseIce decided to remind us that Samsung intends to get rid of this oddity. The source cited a fragment of a press photo of the Galaxy S22 + in comparison with S21 +, relative to which the symmetry of the bottom frame is clearly visible. However, the Galaxy S22 series will not be a pioneer in this moment – the first Android smartphone with symmetrical frames was the Google Pixel 5. The Galaxy Unpacked 2022 presentation will take place the day after tomorrow, February 9th.
