The Google Pixel 6 family has been one of the most disruptive generations of Google phones in recent years. At first, it naturally generated interest from buyers, as Sundar Pichai, CEO of Alphabet Holding, reported during a conference call following the results of the first quarter of 2022. According to a top manager, the Pixel 6 series “became the fastest selling Pixel line in history,” and its release is “a huge step forward for the Pixel portfolio.” He went on to say that he is “excited about the products we have in store for Google I/O 2022.” Presumably, we are talking about Pixel 6A and Pixel Watch.
On the other hand, it should be noted that the Pixel 6 series has been accompanied by a number of software problems for more than six months that Google has not been able to finally solve. Plus, despite the success, the company still doesn’t reveal specific sales figures, or at least the most popular Pixel 6 model of the two. Well, last week, McMag published a report indicating a lack of interest in the Pixel 6 series outside of the American operator Verizon, whose salon employees receive the so-called. spiffs (spiff) – immediate bonuses for the sale of the device. However, the iPhone SE (2022) is also experiencing a similar problem with a lack of demand.
