In March last year, a Samsung top manager said that the Galaxy Note is not over and the new model may appear as early as 2022. At the same time, long before the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra , it became clear that the device is more likely a new Galaxy Note model than the heir to the S21 Ultra, as evidenced by the angular shape of the case and the introduction of a stylus slot. Roh Tae-moon, president of the mobile business of Samsung Electronics, decided to put an end to the issue of crossing lines, stating the following at MWC 2022: “From now on, the Galaxy Note will be released as Ultra.” This is an expected decision, given that the Ultra versions of the Galaxy S family have not managed to achieve the fan love inherent in the Galaxy Note.
