Without a doubt, many fans of fitness trackers are looking forward to the release of Xiaomi Mi Band 7. To brighten up the wait, the Magical Unicorn enthusiast decided to share the first technical details of the novelty that were found in the source codes of the Zepp application. The bracelet is mentioned there under the name Mi Band 7 (codename “L66”) with two model numbers: M2129B1 and M2130B1. The screen can noticeably increase in width, as evidenced by the resolution increased to 192 x 490 pixels (remember, in Mi Band 6 it is 152 x 486 pixels).
Moreover, Mi Band 7 can get the long-awaited GPS support and the Always On Display function, which is also eloquently stated in the source code. Also, the enthusiast managed to find a mention of the “smart alarm clock” that disappeared without a trace for many years, as well as the power saving mode. As a bonus, there are screenshots of several watch faces that will be available out of the box. The author emphasizes that the appearance of new functions and modules in the sources does not necessarily mean that they will be available in the final model of the bracelet.
