This month, OPPO should show its flagship on Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The Chinese company in the new season will make the main bet on the camera. In particular, the MariSilicon X imaging chip from OPPO itself has been officially confirmed, and a lot of leaks point to a partnership with Hasselblad, which will pair the Find X5 Pro with another flagship of the OPPO-OnePlus association, the OnePlus 10 Pro. The German resource WinFuture confirms this information again, and also reveals all the design details of the upcoming newcomer and most of its technical details. Let’s single out the main difference from the OnePlus classmate – the camera. There are two Sony IMX766 sensors for the main and wide-angle lenses (Sony IMX789 and Samsung JN1 for the “competitor”), as well as a 13-megapixel Samsung telephoto sensor with five times hybrid and twenty times digital zoom. In terms of technical content, everything is pretty standard for a 2022 flagship: a 120Hz QHD + OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, a 5000 mAh battery, a modern set of wireless connections, a protected (IP68) glass and metal body and Android 12. Deserves attention to the new LPDDR5X RAM technology, which is just beginning to be used in smartphones. All details are in the table below. The price tag, unfortunately, is not yet known. The announcement is expected to take place at MWC 2022 at the end of February.
