The Vivo X80 camera phone, which managed to light up on “live” shots this week, has been registered in the Google Play Console database. There, the device is listed under the code designation “V2144” and is illustrated by a snapshot of the front panel. It shows the glass rounded on the side faces and the frontalka in the hole in the center. The description mentions that the screen has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, and the chipset is MediaTek MT6983 (Dimensity 9000) with 8 GB of RAM.
As the Digital Chat Station informant clarifies, the older Vivo X80 Pro model will also receive the same chipset, and an alternative version on the Qualcomm chip will be offered in addition (probably, we are talking about Snapdragon 8 Gen 1). At the same time, being an improved version of Vivo X70 Pro + , the new “firmware” may be noticeably more expensive than X70 Pro . The announcement of Vivo X80 and X80 Pro may take place as early as the end of April.
