The Polaris PPA 5042i air purifier is equipped with a three-level filtration system and an ionizer. Power consumption – 15 W, productivity – 150 m³ / h, recommended service area – up to 35 m².
The device is sold in an illustrated cardboard box and comes assembled. The package includes a detachable power cable and a user manual.
The base of the device is equipped with rubberized feet. It also serves as a hatch, opening access to a non-separable filter unit (the filter unit cannot be cleaned).
The device has a three-level filtration system, consisting of three elements packed into a single unit. Outside there is a polypropylene filter that traps large particles of dust, pollen and lint. In the middle of the block is a HEPA filter that captures up to 99.97% of dust and fine particles up to 0.3 microns in size. A carbon filter is placed at the outlet, which effectively adsorbs pungent odors and harmful impurities in the air, such as the smell of tobacco smoke or the smells of dishes being prepared in the kitchen. The resource of the filter set is approximately 3000 hours of operation of the device, the circular indicator will light up in red when it is time to replace the filter unit.
In addition to filtering, the device is able to saturate the air with negatively charged ions, which are useful for enhancing the metabolism and homeostasis of the human body.
On top of the device is a touch control panel with LED indicators. After turning on the device in the network, the red indicator lights up. The ambient light around the control panel turns blue and then goes out. The device goes into standby mode.
To turn on the device, you need to touch the power button, after which the circular illumination will turn blue, and the device will start working at medium speed. The speed indicator will turn green.
The user can choose one of three speeds for the air purifier. To do this, successively touch the button with the fan icon. The selected speed has its own indicator color:
- High speed – blue indicator
- Average speed – green indicator
- Low speed – yellow indicator
To turn on ionization, touch the button with the icon in the form of negatively charged particles. The ionization indicator will turn green. To turn off the ionization mode, touch this button again. A long press on this button turns off the illumination around the control panel, which can be useful at night.
To turn off the device, touch the power button again.
